Swiss Calculator Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 19, 2026

This policy explains how Swiss Calculator (Android package com.swisscalc.app) handles information when you use the app.

Calculations and information stored on your device

Calculations run on your device. Swiss Calculator does not operate an account system or a server that receives your calculator inputs or results. Calculator inputs and results are not supplied by the app to advertising services. Android may temporarily retain screen state to restore your current calculation.

The app stores favorites, recently opened calculator identifiers, appearance preferences, history settings, and the expiration time of optional rewarded access locally. Recent tools identify calculators you opened; they are not a history of calculation inputs or results. The app disables Android backup and excludes its data from cloud backup and device transfer through its backup rules.

Advertising and consent services

Swiss Calculator uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements and optional rewarded advertisements, and Google's User Messaging Platform to manage applicable advertising privacy choices. These services use an internet connection.

Google's Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares information including IP addresses, app and advertising interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID. IP addresses may be used to estimate approximate location. Google processes this information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Processing depends on the SDK configuration and applicable privacy choices. The app does not request precise location, contacts, camera, or microphone permissions.

Advertising requests are gated by Google's consent platform. Where required, you can review or change advertising choices through the app's Settings privacy options. Device advertising controls may also be available in Android Settings. Calculators remain usable when advertising is unavailable.

For details, see Google's Privacy Policy, how Google uses information from apps that use its services, and Google Mobile Ads SDK data disclosures.

Copying and sharing

When you choose Copy, selected result text is placed on the system clipboard. When you choose Share, selected text is passed to Android's sharing interface and the recipient you select. Information you copy or share is then subject to the system's and receiving app's handling and privacy practices.

Retention and deletion

Local preferences remain on your device until you change or remove them, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. You can clear recently opened tools and disable future recent-tool recording in Settings, and remove favorites individually. Clearing app storage also resets saved preferences and rewarded access.

Clearing local app data does not delete information already processed by Google. Google determines retention for its services as described in its data retention policy. Google's privacy policy explains available access, deletion, and other privacy controls. Swiss Calculator has no app account or app-controlled server database to delete.

Privacy questions and requests

For privacy questions or requests, contact the Swiss Calculator developer at mwhiteben@gmail.com. Please do not include sensitive calculator inputs in your message.

If you contact us, your email address and the information you provide will be used to respond to and resolve your request, and retained only as needed for that purpose or applicable legal obligations. You can use the same email address to request deletion of correspondence under the developer's control.

Security

Local app data is protected by Android's application storage controls. Google reports that Mobile Ads SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
